Long story short, have been dental phobic for as long as I can remember and my teeth are literally rotting out of my head Had 7 teeth extracted back in June due to abcesses and we recently moved right outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. Does anyone know of a compassionate dentist in this area? I know no one, and I can't live like this anymore. Thanks!

I've come across 5 reviews (all good) for this dentist (who is described as very compassionate and having a great chairside manner) on citysearch.com and Yahoo!Local: Kirsten Ream, DDS 530 Washington Ave Bridgeville, PA 15017-2066 (412) 221-3557 Also recommended for great chairside manner in Pittsburgh (on Yahoo!Local) was Melucci, John C DDS (412) 531-6804 3733 Poplar Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15234 Cross Street:Between Willow Ave and Pine Ave Unfortunately, nobody here has recommended a dentist in Pittsburgh yet... so it's a bit of a shot in the dark. Might be worth checking out though, if you cannot get any personal recommendations . If you do find a dentist, I would be thrilled if you would be prepared to share the name, either privately (you can e-mail me at dentalfearcentral@yahoo.co.uk), or on our database forum, which will open soon (I'm still in the process of building it, and haven't added any content yet): www.dentalfearcentral.org/cgi-bin/find/YaBB.plBest of luck !!
