Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had a favourite type of dental floss? I thought they were all pretty much alike so my first pack was a supermarket standard pack (cheapest one I think). It seemed quite thick but I thought that was normal. I used it for a few weeks until it ran out, and as I got practiced I noticed I was getting more plaque off my teeth.
A couple of days ago I got some Oral-B Essential floss and it is much thinner than the previous one, I was really surprised. I'm able to floss much quicker with it as it gets in between my teeth easily, however when I look at the floss it doesn't look like I'm getting as much plaque off.
I think I might by the thick one again and then compare, I'll have a go at using the thin one first, then the thick one and see if the thick one gets any more plaque that could have been left.
I'm counting down the days till the next appointment, it is on the coming Tuesday. I'm really looking forward to getting rid of the rest of the tartar on my teeth. I feel a little sad though, I know it has only been a week and a half since my last visit but I was hoping that after getting rid of most of the rubbish on my lower front teeth that my gums would be looking better by now. I check them a couple of times a day and sometimes I think they look better than other times. I suppose I just want quick results lol. I hope that on Tuesday they'll be able to get rid of ALL the tartar so that I can really work at getting my gums sorted.
Saying this though I think the gums at the back of my mouth are looking much better. They're not quite a light pink in all places, some have darker pink, but this is better than the red that was there.
Sorry for whining lol.Hope you've all had a nice week so far!
