I am curious. I meet more and more people that tell me they have never had dental freezing for their work.... *shiver* OUCH! The needles are bad enough but at least they are quick; I'd hate to go through a whole hour and half of RCT with no freezing. I guess I'm just trying to get a feeling of which countries use freezing and which don't. Cheers

Well, I just went ang got my first filling 2 days ago. I have been scared to death for years. I waited 6 years before telling anyone about it, and hadn't visited the dentist in 10 years since I was 5. I'm 15 now.
Anyways, they asked me if i wanted to be numbed and i wasn't sure but i decided no. My dad says it really doesn't hurt to get a tooth filled. Well, in this case he was right because i dont recall feeling any "pain". Minor discomfort yes, but not pain.
So as far as fillings go no numbing for me. And I live in the USA in case you are wondering.
